Agreement

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of TabSorter, including the website, extension, Free plan, Pro trial, and paid Pro features. By installing, accessing, or using TabSorter, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not install or use TabSorter. TabSorter is operated from Germany, and mandatory rights available to you under applicable German, EU, or other consumer law are not limited by these Terms.

What TabSorter Does

TabSorter helps you organize browser windows by sorting tabs, creating optional browser tab groups, reviewing cleanup suggestions, saving and restoring tab sessions, managing workspace profiles, and opening a local launcher for tab and action search.

TabSorter is local-first. It does not require a TabSorter account for core functionality, does not load remote code, and does not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or telemetry services.

Browser Requirements

TabSorter is designed for Google Chrome and Chromium-based Microsoft Edge. Browser APIs, store policies, security prompts, operating-system behavior, or browser updates may affect whether particular features work as expected.

TabSorter is not provided by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Google, Chrome, Microsoft, or Edge. Google and Microsoft are not the sellers of TabSorter Pro.

Plans and Pro Access

• The Free plan includes core tab organization features with current limits of 1 workspace profile, 3 preferred domains, 3 rules, 3 manual saved sessions, and no custom grouping rules.
• The in-browser Pro trial lasts 7 days and does not require payment details. When it ends, TabSorter returns to the Free plan unless you activate a paid Pro license.
• Paid Pro unlocks additional workflows such as unlimited profiles, rules and sessions, Tab Inbox, auto-save, profile automation, Smart Cleanup batch actions, custom grouping, and backup import.
• Lifetime access means access to the then-current TabSorter Pro features for the lifetime of the product, subject to these Terms and any mandatory consumer rights.

Checkout, Billing, and Taxes

Paid Pro purchases are processed through Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy manages checkout, payment collection, tax calculation where applicable, invoices, subscription billing, and the billing portal using the email address you provide at checkout.

Current public prices are EUR 3.99 per month for Monthly Pro, EUR 29.99 per year for Yearly Pro, and EUR 69 once for Lifetime Pro. Monthly and yearly Pro plans renew automatically until canceled. Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase and does not renew. Prices, billing periods, taxes, trial details, and renewal terms are shown during checkout and may change for future purchases or renewals as permitted by applicable law.

Your purchase may also be governed by Lemon Squeezy's buyer terms and checkout disclosures. If there is a conflict about payment processing, taxes, payment methods, chargebacks, or Lemon Squeezy account handling, the Lemon Squeezy terms and mandatory law may also apply.

Cancellation and Deactivation

You can manage or cancel a paid subscription through the TabSorter billing portal at https://tabsorter.lemonsqueezy.com/billing. Sign in with the email used at checkout, choose the active subscription, and follow the cancellation steps.

Removing a license key, uninstalling the extension, clearing browser storage, or deactivating a browser activation only changes local Pro access in that browser. Those actions do not cancel an active paid subscription or stop future billing.

If the billing portal cannot find your subscription, contact quieti.app@gmail.com with your purchase email or license key.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled through Lemon Squeezy and applicable law. Unless required by law, confirmed by Lemon Squeezy, or expressly stated during checkout, fees already paid are not refunded for unused subscription periods after cancellation.

If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us promptly at quieti.app@gmail.com and include the purchase email, order number if available, and a short description of the issue.

European Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer in the EU or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections, you may have statutory rights that cannot be waived by these Terms, including rights relating to pre-contract information, digital-content or digital-service conformity, withdrawal, cancellation, and remedies for defective digital services.

For EU consumers, distance contracts may include a 14-day withdrawal right. For digital content or digital services supplied immediately, that right may expire or be lost if you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge the legal consequence during checkout or activation, as required by applicable law.

To exercise a mandatory withdrawal, cancellation, guarantee, or consumer-remedy right, contact quieti.app@gmail.com or use the Lemon Squeezy billing and support flow shown on your checkout confirmation.

License Keys and Activation

A Pro license may need to be activated in the extension before paid features become available. License activation is stored only in the browser where you activate it. TabSorter may periodically validate the license with Lemon Squeezy to confirm that the purchase, subscription, activation, or product variant is still valid.

You are responsible for keeping license keys confidential. Do not share, resell, publish, or use license keys in a way that bypasses purchase requirements or activation limits.

Acceptable Use

You may use TabSorter for lawful personal or business browser organization. You must not misuse TabSorter, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, circumvent Pro limits, abuse checkout or refund systems, or use the extension in a way that violates applicable law, browser store rules, or third-party rights.

Your Browser Data

TabSorter reads and stores browser data only as needed to provide its tab organization features, such as tab URLs, titles, favicons, tab state, browser group information, settings, rules, profiles, sessions, cleanup state, optional bookmark import data, and Pro license information.

Detailed data practices, storage locations, permissions, and user controls are explained in the Privacy Policy.

Your Content and Responsibility

Saved sessions, rules, preferred domains, backups, and settings remain your responsibility. TabSorter can help save and restore tab metadata, but it cannot guarantee that third-party pages, accounts, files, sessions, forms, shopping carts, or authenticated web content will still be available when restored.

Before closing large numbers of tabs or importing backups, review the proposed action and keep any separate records you need.

Intellectual Property

TabSorter, including its website, extension code, interface, logo, copy, and related materials, is owned by the operator or licensed to the operator and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of TabSorter to you.

You may not copy, distribute, sell, sublicense, modify, or create derivative works from TabSorter except where permitted by applicable law or by an express written license.

Availability and Changes

TabSorter may be changed, updated, suspended, or discontinued. Features may be added, removed, renamed, rate-limited, or moved between plans. We will try to avoid changes that materially reduce paid access during an active paid period, but browser APIs, store policies, security requirements, payment-provider rules, and legal obligations can require changes.

Disclaimers

TabSorter is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that TabSorter will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every browser version, or suitable for every workflow.

TabSorter is not a backup service, legal service, security product, or browser-vulnerability protection tool.

Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, fraud, or mandatory product-liability rules.

For simple negligence, liability is limited to breaches of essential contractual duties and to foreseeable, typical damages. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, lost data, lost browser sessions, third-party website failures, or payment-provider outages.

Termination

You may stop using TabSorter at any time by uninstalling the extension. We may suspend or end access to paid features if a license is invalid, refunded, charged back, canceled, abused, shared beyond permitted limits, or used in violation of these Terms.

Dispute Resolution

The former European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued on July 20, 2025. We are not obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board and generally do not do so. If that changes, this section will be updated.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country require otherwise. If you are a consumer, statutory venue and consumer-protection rules remain unaffected.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when TabSorter changes, when payment or browser-store requirements change, or when legal requirements change. The latest version will be available on this page. If a change materially affects active paid access, we will provide notice where required by law.
